A reverse appliqué crew neck sweater I made for the upcoming Waste Management Open! The sweater is from Michael’s and the fabric for the letters was upcycled from some Lilly Pulitzer cotton face masks I was gifted from my mother-in-law (who was given them by her former boss when public health guidance started recommending KN masks instead of cotton).

I used DMC 2827 for the stitching around the letters, reduced down to 3 strands. After stitching, I ironed on a fusible interfacing so everything would lie smooth. On the front lapel (not shown) I did some freehand embroidery and beading to match the floral pattern on the letters.

Dog tax included in the second photo - my sweet girl will be 10 in February!
